Inspiration

I saw this block and fell in love. And she calls it a failed attempt...

Christina pointed me toward the book with the pattern, and it's not something that I would have *ever* picked up without seeing Christina's version of the block.

I found a used copy on Amazon, and I have actually found it quite inspiring! The medallion quilt is there, but I find Christina's version so much more inspiring....

...but these solid fabric quilts are beautiful just as they are....

And there are a few more that are on my radar for future projects. But before I get to them....

...my planned Roy G. Biv quilt needs to come to fruition....

...and I should probably do something with these prints I got with my birthday gift certificate...

...and my Bee blocks are starting to arrive, so I will need to do something with them.

Plenty to do...perhaps I should get started...

That failed attempt is absolutely fantastic! I guess we're our worst critic and sometimes cannot see the beauty in our work.

There's always a ton of stuff to do! I LOVE that block! I actually got the pattern about a year ago and I've been meaning to make it since then -- just can't seem to get the time! Good Luck with all of your projects!

Roy G. Biv, eh? Then I hope you and Jax are familiar with this:

LOL! I have my next number of projects lined up & here I sit on the computer! It is so much more fun reading what everyone else is up to! Perhaps it'll get my butt in gear too?

(I saw the round red patterns & can only imagine how difficult that would be for me to sew!)

Oh sweet glory! I can't believe you have your stacks ready for ROYGBIV!!! After such a quick start, I'm stuck with only the R and Y. Must get motivated!
